Been tagged by both Jarrod Robinson and Liz B. Davis for the meme 7 Things You Don’t Need To Know About Me so here goes:
- The reason why I majored in Botany, Biochemistry and Microbiology at University and NOT Zoology is I don’t like the idea of killing animals or looking at bloods and guts.
- Still consider it ironic that I’ve spent the past 21 years of my work life cutting up sick fish (DON”T tell anyone but the killing, blood and guts still makes me feel sick).

I’m a fish farmer who specializes in fish diseases but don’t ask me how to cure your sick goldfish because you WON’T be happy with the answer!- I talk to fish, each species has a different personality, but I would never be caught talking to a goldfish!
- Passionately HATE talking on phones, mobile phones and SMSing but totally LOVE my iPhone….
- My f2f friends are (mostly) totally UNAWARE of my work online — lets just say testing the water with a simple explanation, early on, didn’t quite go so well! Needless to say I haven’t told them about changes to my work life.
- My husband Google’s me in his lunch break sometimes to find out what I’m doing!
The 8 thing should be my success rate in tagging people in memes is extremely low…..oh well here are the 7 8 people I tag:
Best of luck! All you have to do is list 7 Things You Don’t Need To Know About Me and then tag 7 people (if you want to)…

Yes I know it was a bit wicked of me Ken – but I know you enjoy a good challenge.

Well, the Master Multitasker just keeps on going! So which is your First, Second, THird…Life? If you were a fish you’d probably fly too (there is a species of flying fish isn’t there?)
I’ll get abused by Darcy if I blog before mid-Jan but I’ll pass the meme on afterwards. Trying to unplug these days, only a sporadic “check” here and there.
Take care SUe and if we don’t speak before – have a multi-tasking-crazy-and-exciting 2009. With more time on your hands next year (yeah right
we’ll need to find time for a coffee of two.
Cheers, Tomaz

Funnily enough Tomaz – now that I’m feeling relaxed I really feel like blogging. You should see how some of my fish jump.
Question is Darcy allowed to blog? I see he has been tagged also! No way anyone is going to tell me when I can or can’t blog
Thinking I will need lots of coffee breaks next year!

I did not know that you were into Dawkinspeak. I thank you for reducing my level of ignorance.
The Norwegians may wish to keep quiet about it, but I tell everybody that they have the best fresh salmon in the world.
As for tagging seven others … err … (Quick mental note written on a piece of paper to self: must follow more people on twhirl etc, since 5<7)
Thanks for the tag!

Thanks Tony – must be something about holidays as I’ve done quite well with this meme. Although still sad about the Twitter love meme — don’t suppose all of you want to try getting that one started for me?
Here is the Twitter Love Meme if you are interested!
PS I’m a bit cheeky and changed the rules — none of you noticed but the title was 7 Things You Don’t Need To Know About Me which I changed to 7 Things You REALLY Don’t Need To Know About Me

Hi Sue,
You have an interesting science background!
I just posted my Seven Things to help bump up your low stats on the meme thing. It was also fun. Glad to take part.

Thanks Paul. Looks like for a change I did okay with the whole tagging meme bit. Thinking it is the Christmas season or a case of everyone is doing the meme so might as well join in?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I`ve also been catching up with some of the other info you been giving about PLN. I wondered if there was a list anywhere of people willing to mentor newbies to networking?
December 31, 2008 at 6:43 am
No problem Pam. It’s a really good question about mentors and unfortunately I don’t have a list. My relationships have always happened as a result of networking together and then helping each other.
Will have a ponder on how this could be done.

Sue,
HELP! My goldfish is sick. How may I cure it?
January 4, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Frank I honestly find it hard to believe that you could even admit to owning a Goldfish
I find it hard enough to confess that I have a shirt with two goldfish on it.

She is a really nice blogger.
