I’m glad to hear that you are spending some time relaxing. I wish you Happy Holidays. Say I to your new “friend” for me. I am a dog lover and he looks so cute. He knows “good” people when he finds them. Just don’t give him any chocolate.

Yes I’m having a lovely time relaxing while also fitting a bit of work in at the same time.
Obviously the dog is less understanding than my family at realising the need for me to fit in work while also holiday 🙂
Fortunately I don’t share chocolate which is good for the dog since it is poisonous to them!

Even though I am a dog lover, Sue, I feel your pain. While my small dog Nola (a Katrina survivor) sits quietly by my feet, my son’s already enormous Doberman pup (who is supposedly just visiting while my son finds a new apartment…yeah, right) is tearing apart our house. Just hope he stays away from the electrical cords!

@Gail I use to be a dog lover but now they are a bit like kids to me. Fine if they are my own otherwise happy to leave them.
I’m seriously worried about the damage a Doberman pup could do to the house.
Thanks having a restful holiday while monitoring it to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I am also on holiday break. But I did not go anywhere on vacation, just stayed home. I am a dog lover and love when they snuggle up with me. I have 3 dogs, (beagle, greyhound, and german shepard)The german shepard is a gentle giant and sometimes tries to get on the couch or a bed, which doesn’t work out very well. Even though I love when he does so.

Congratulations on starting your own blog. It was a pleasure to read how excited you were about having your own blog and that you wanted one so much that it was on your Christmas list.
I’m also pleased to hear that your sister Dominique inspired you to blog — as she is doing really well with her blogging. So I’m sure she will give you lots of help.
Sorry that you didn’t get to go any where. Ours was a really short trip but was nice.
We have owned a dog but for me I’m more of a cat person. Our cat and dog used to sleep on our bed (as they were really small).
And since your blog was on your Christmas list I’ve given you a Christmas present. I suggest when you have time you log in and have a look 🙂
