Thanks Kevin for sharing your links to the videos on your blogging project.

Unfortunately Diane it looks like guidelines & policies are fractured and inconsistent worldwide. Benefit of all this however is it has made us all consider the issues.

Excellent Sean thanks for letting us know how much detail is being used on Dave Warlick's Class Blogmeister. Vicki Davies has written a post today about the situation and states "For my 8th grader and younger we use private spaces on either Ning or classblogmeister. That is the age my school has set and 10th grade is when we allow the projects to go completely public."

Happy to keep everyone updated Christine since it's such an important topic. While let you know how Al's going when he has news.

Thanks for keeping us all informed and providing the summaries of responses. I was just reading the minis comments. Heartbreaking! I do so hope the outpouring of support from around the world helps a tiny bit.

Very important for all of us.

It's worth taking a look at what they do over at David Warlick's Class Blogmeister - http://classblogmeister.com/

While the teacher retains control over the students' posts and comments, it's interesting to note I can see student photos, school and class information and other identifying details.

The educational policies in Australia always seemed so enlightened to me, while ours in the U.S. are fractured and inconsistent. I am sorry to be proven wrong.

We need a World Educational Curriculum, and we need it now.
