[...] Feeling happier now that I have added some Christmas bling. There is lots more to choose from if you want to create some of your own — give Rollyo a try for locating suitable image generators faster. You can read more about image generators in this post. [...]

Hello Sue, i think i twittered to you that East Gippsland Community College got involved with the regional library

.. using 23Things to engage people in the local community. A really good project, and they'd be worth chasing up to find out more.

Was featured in the eShow'nTell, and also http://elearnala.wikispaces.com/showcase

Thanks Funny Guy for the link to Customsigngenerator. I have bookmarked it.

Wondering Gary is that a good thing or bad that they remind you of the early online buttons and sphere generators?

Hi Alan - Yes I have to admit I am looking forward to the posts from the Generator blog. I remember the Einstein image well.

Is there any other information on images you suggest I should check out?

Thanks Paul for your feedback - glad the information was useful.

Good point in terms of including it with teacher training and would definitely love to see it happening when the teachers are doing their studies.

Unfortunately I work for the VET sector (which is vocational education and training) - and our lecturers are employed on the basis of having industry skills not teacher qualifications. The other issue we have is when new lecturers are employed they have so much to learn in relation to working with students. 23 Things program may be a way of introducing them to technology.

The Generator blog is a great resource for this.

My favorite one, used numerous times for web sites, presentation sides, is the Einstein generator:
